We would like to thank all of the parents and residents that attended our community meeting held on Thursday, February 9, 2017. Parents and residents were asked to complete a survey to identify needs in the school community. The team provided a detailed report that included data from the surveys as well as data regarding school improvement efforts. Our next meeting will be held in April. Please join as we work together to improve our school community. Tell a neighbor! Below you will find a link to the presentations that were shared during the meeting.
You are your child’s first teacher, and reading with your child is a proven way to promote early literacy. Helping to make sure your child is reading on grade level by third grade is one of the most important things you can do to prepare hm/her for the future. By reading with your child for 20 minutes per day and making a few simple strategies a part of your daily routine, you can make a positive impact on your child’s success in school. We are happy to provide you with this Read at-Home Plan, which includes strategies to help your child become a more proficient reader. Use the link below to access the plan provided by the Office of Elementary Education and Reading.
ETAC will make the weather related missed day on February 20, 2017. Please make your calendars!
