Attendance Awareness 2017

This year’s theme Engagement = Attendance highlights the important role everyone can play in creating a welcoming and engaging school environment that motivates students and families to come to school every day.
The Campaign kicks off during the first  Attendance Awareness webinar, It’s a Matter of 1, 2, 3! This year’s webinar series emphasizes the importance of taking a comprehensive, tiered approach to improve attendance. Webinars will focus on one of three tiers of intervention and examples from districts, schools and communities that have moved the needle using data-driven, preventive strategies.

P-16 Council/Irene Chapel-Palmer’s Crossing Fellowship and Transition Team

We would like to thank all of the parents and residents that attended our community meeting held on Thursday, February 9, 2017. Parents and residents were asked to complete a survey to identify needs in the school community. The team provided a detailed report that included data from the surveys as well as data regarding school improvement efforts. Our next meeting will be held in April. Please join as we work together to improve our school community. Tell a neighbor! Below you will find a link to the presentations that were shared during the meeting.
